Riesling

A white wine originating from the Rhein and Mosel river valleys of Germany. The major regions for production include Alsace, France, Austria, Germany, and Northern Italy. This white wine has a broad range of styles with both dry and sweet variations. It is crisp, refreshing and versatile with fruity aromas of apple, peach, and pear as well a floral and mineral undertones. It can be used with appetizers to desserts and along with pork, poultry, fish, and Asian dishes. Riesling is used to make late harvest dessert wines and ice wine, a concentrated wine with more sugar.
